What affects a Can-Am Traxter's price

Turn the key and read the hours off the digital display. That's the figure our price hangs on. Photograph it.
Full cab on Limited and cab builds
Nothing adds more than a sealed factory cab with a working heater. Roof and screen alone still count for something.
MAX crew or three-seat bench
A six-seat MAX suits shoots and estates, so it draws a wider pool of buyers than the standard three-seater.
T-plate and V5C
Tractor-homologated Traxters registered with the DVLA can travel on the road between sites, which widens demand. Bring the V5C.
Belt and clutch service record
Traxters drive through a CVT belt. Records of belt and clutch servicing count for most, and if the belt already slips we just put a new one into the price.
Traxter or Defender: the same machine
If you want to sell a Can-Am Traxter but keep finding Defender adverts, there's a simple reason. They're the same UTV. Can-Am launched it in 2016 as the Defender, which is still its name in North America. Europe got the Traxter badge from 2017 after a trademark clash, so a very early one may still say Defender on the side. Read a Defender HD10 review online and it's describing your Traxter HD10.
Road-registered and tractor-homologated Traxters
Some Traxters were sold with tractor (T) homologation, so they can carry a registration and use the road between farm sites. The 6x6 XU HD10 is one. Registered? Then you'll have a V5C, and we need it in your name along with photo ID.
Never registered and off-road only is fine too. We buy it with the dealer invoice or other proof you own it. Either way we check the VIN before we pay. On earlier Traxters the VIN label is under the glovebox, while on later ones you'll find it inside the right-hand front wheel arch.
