Selling a quad bike round West Malling and ME19

ME19 is the big one. It covers West Malling and Kings Hill plus the villages under the Downs such as Offham and Ryarsh. Wateringbury, to the south, is ME18. Snodland is ME6. Larkfield and Aylesford are ME20. Up at Borough Green and Wrotham it's TN15.

Kings Hill and Leybourne are big housing estates full of families. From there we're as likely to hear about an outgrown kids' quad or an e-dirt bike in a garage as about farm kit. Other Kent towns we cover are on the county page.

Most Sur-Ron, Talaria, Stark Varg and E Ride Pro models are not road legal. They're for private land with the landowner's permission, and tracks. We never suggest riding a non-road-legal bike on public roads.

East Malling orchards and fruit-farm Gators

Fruit has been grown and studied at East Malling for over a century. The research station there, now run by NIAB, bred rootstocks that orchards all over the world still use, and orchards still line the lanes out towards Wateringbury. Kings Hill went up on the old RAF West Malling airfield. Malling Abbey is still in the middle of the old town.

A spraying Gator spends its working life creeping between rows at walking pace with a heavy load behind it. That's hard on a CVT belt. Brakes and clutches go too, and branches scrape the plastics. Downland farms above Wrotham and Trottiscliffe

North of the M20 the ground climbs to the North Downs. Farms above Ryarsh are arable with some sheep. Tracks run longer and steeper up there, and you see bigger UTVs working the open fields. Say what the track up to your barn is like and we'll bring a trailer to suit.

Holly Hill and riding legally

In February 2024 Kent Police ran an operation against illegal off-road riding at Holly Hill near Snodland and on Blue Bell Hill, reported by KentOnline. In from M20 junction 4 or 5

Junction 4 puts us on the A228 for Leybourne and Kings Hill. Junction 5 is the one for Aylesford. The A20 crosses the borough from Larkfield to Wrotham Heath. The M26 joins the M20 near Wrotham, and the A25 runs on through Borough Green and Platt.
